Supported Employment Training for Persons with Disabilities (SET)
Service Description
- To enhance the employability of persons with disabilities through vocational training
- To provide incentives to encourage employers to offer jobs to persons with disabilities to try out their working capabilities
Target Service Users
- Persons with disabilities, aged 15 or above, are capable of self-care, and
- Persons with disabilities are unable to adjust to the open job market in the absence of employment support.

- Employment counseling and work skills training
- Job Attachment
- Job Trial
- Post-placement Service
*Note: The service operators and participants have no employer-employee relationship.
Application Procedures
- Applicants can approach the service operators directly or referral can be made to the Central Referral System for Rehabilitation Services of the SWD. The application is free of charge.
