In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, 24-hour chained fast food restaurants adjusted their operation hour, which caused the disadvantaged group- homeless people losing the shelter at night, they worried about the health and personal safety at the same time.
Funded by Jockey Club “COVID-19 Emergency Fund”, SRACP launched a short-term project “Love Delivery under COVID-19” at two service areas in Kowloon West in May by driving two 60-seat coaches to designated spots, outreaching teams approaching homeless / street sleepers to provide timely care and support to them in time of hardship.
Ms. Anthea LEE Shuk Wai, Chief Executive together with Mr. Brian Wong, SRACP Supervisor and Kevin, project assistant were being interviewed by Topick. In addition to introducing details and concepts of the project, they also shared their memorable experience during outreach.
